The mission of Dream Body Mom is to help you learn the most effective techniques in diet and exercise, manage your responsibilities better, become an informed consumer, reduce stress, and more so that you can have your dream body.  The following explanations will give you a clearer picture of how these topics will be covered here.

  • Learn the most effective techniques in diet and exercise -  Some methods of losing weight are more effective than others.  For example, eating regularly and optimizing your meal plans to promote a dream body are going to produce longer-lasting results than skipping meals or following extreme diets.  I’ll also debunk exercise myths, show you exercises that I recommend, and teach you the science behind effective exercise techniques.
  • Manage your responsibilities better -  Your fitness responsibilities can get pretty tough to manage when you have kids demanding all of your time and attention.  Here I’ll explore ways that you can integrate a healthy lifestyle into your daily life.  I’ll point you to resources that can help so that you know that you aren’t in this alone!  By learning new techniques and utilizing your resources, you can truly learn how a dream body can be achievable for you.
  • Become an informed consumer – Here I’ll discuss research studies relating to diet and exercise, look at key institutions that play a role in consumer advocacy, help you understand regulations regarding weight loss products, follow pertinent news and stories,  and give you the information you need to help you make wiser choices.
  • Reduce stress – Often it is our stress levels that prevent us from doing the things we wish we could.  We get consumed by our responsibilities and overwhelmed that there just isn’t enough time in the day to do it all.  Can you learn to accept the fact that your life isn’t going to be perfect?  If so, you are on your way to reducing your stress levels.  There are things you can do – physically, emotionally, and spiritually – to help you have a sound mind, deal with life in a calmer way, and increase your confidence in your ability to make it.
